Starting the second week of January 2020, CSF will be making the C range available for public shooting 4 days in a row, twice a month.

Here are the new times for January 2020:

Take action against I-1639

Recently in Washington State, anti-gun activists have been gathering signatures with the hope of getting I-1639 on the upcoming election ballot. There has been a recent legal challenge regarding the gathering of these signatures in accordance with WA state law (RCW 29A.72.100).

To keep this brief, here’s some background information:

The decision is now up to WA secretary of state, Kim Wyman. With your help, we hope to influence Mrs. Wyman’s decision to remove I-1639 from the upcoming election ballot. Being realistic, this does not defeat the initiative, but simply keeps it off the ballot at least until the next election.

Below is a boiler plate letter that may be sent to Sec. State Kim Wyman:

Madam,

I-1639 should be rejected once submitted for verification because it does not comply with state law;

Petitions—Paper—Size—Contents.

Each petition at the time of circulating, signing, and filing with the secretary of state must consist of not more than one sheet with numbered lines for not more than twenty signatures, with the prescribed warning and title, be in the form required by RCW 29A.72.110, 29A.72.120, or 29A.72.130, and have a readable, full, true, and correct copy of the proposed measure printed on the reverse side of the petition.

Upcoming in-person membership renewal dates (2018)

The CSF Membership Chair has set two in-person renewal dates:

1. May 5th from 3PM to 8PM

2. May 7th from 12PM to 7PM

Both sessions will held at the Clubhouse.

Online renewal is still the easiest way to pay your dues.

May 10th RSO/Gatekeeper Meeting

Cascade Members,

We will have an RSO/Gate Keeper orientation on May 10, 2018 at 1900 (7:00PM) in the Ravensdale Club House. We will discuss some of the new proposals and listen to your ideas on how we can make improvements to the operation and the club. We will discuss the duties of the RSO’s and Gate Keeper as per which shift you are signed-up for etc. This will really be helpful to our new RSO’s and members that want to gain their work hours this way.

Update on our membership renewal process

Hello CSF Members,

I wanted to share an update on our renewal process this year.

Renewals will begin April 1st. We would prefer you renew online as early as possible.
Renewals will close May 7th. We must receive your payment for your renewal and work assessment by this date.

Renewal Billing

This year, you will see an email invoice for your membership renewal.
If applicable, you will also see a second, separate invoice for work assessment hours(if you didn’t perform them)
We will not be sending you physical mail due to the cost and labor involved.

You will be emailed a copy of each invoice to the email address we have on file for you. You can also log into our online system and view/pay your invoices.

How you will be able to pay

You will be able to pay online, using a credit card.
You will be able to pay by mail. Instructions on how to do so can be found on your invoice(s).
You will also be able to pay in person. We will be holding several in-person sessions at the clubhouse to process renewals. The schedule for these sessions will be announced shortly.

There is no action you need to take at this time. We will begin the process on April 1^st.
